ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS– INFANT—TODDLER
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Special consideration is given to those students who have experience in the field and demonstrate academic aptitude.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Demonstrate candidacy for the Infant and Toddler Program (Birth– 3 years) by submitting: a copy of transcripts, verifying highest level of education completed; three written letters of recommendation (1 character, 1 professional and 1 academic); and a resume.
Application fee, $50.00, payable to National Center for Montessori Education-New England.
Pre-Admission Observation, Interview and Essay.
The student applying to NMCE-NE becomes a candidate for the American Montessori Society (AMS) Infant and Toddler Credential if s/he holds as a minimum a four-year college degree from an accredited United States institution. An AMS Associate Infant and Toddler Credential is awarded to students who do not have a four-year college degree from an accredited United States institution. Candidates for the Associate Infant and Toddler Credential must complete all requirements of the NCME-NE Infant and Toddler Course.
